Ran into N.

One year out of the "relationship" or victimization as it was, and I ran into him and his new supply who is moving in with him. I was walking out of the store and had to walk right past them. First I could read his lips, as he said to her, there's, then my name. She repeated my name with a puzzled look on her face, as if she did not know who he was talking about. I am then close enough to hear them, he says my last name. I did not speak to them. I understand he has no class or manners but this is bothering me as to why he did this. Any insight would be appreciated.

This is a tough question

Are you asking why he told her your name close enough for you to hear or the fact that he even mentioned that he saw you? It is difficult to say for sure that her facial expression indicates that she did not know who you were. She may have been confused and needed clarification as to who he was talking about especially where it has been over a year.

You must have had some emotion seeing them together. My question to you would be, how are you doing with this? Has it triggered you and are you O.K?

God bless,
Goldie

No offense

but why do you care??? Be happy he is not with you, he is someone else's problem. If you had a son or daughter who was bullied and he or she ran into the bully a year later and the same thing happened what would you tell him/her? To ruminate over the possible reasons why he told another kid your name? Or just forget about and don't give it any more of his/her time?
