NC for close to 2 years!!! Narcs brother passed away. How to handle?

I am in a situation that I'm not sure how to handle.

As most of you may have experienced, I was in a very abusive (mentally, financially and emotionally) relationship with Narc (who is also my daughter's father).

After much posting, researching, reading and healing, I have been able to put a lot of pain and humiliation behind me. I am moving forward with my life emotionally and am trying to slowly put back the pieces where my finances and weight are concerned.

Anyhow, Narc has contacted my mother in order to ask about our daughter every few months. We NO LONGER have contact. He does not have my number and doesn't know where I live. I did speak to him twice since going NC and they were very short conversations where I simply reminded him that in order for me to know that he will be consistent with my daughter we MUST set up visitation rights/schedules with the court. He does not want to do this soooo he backs off and tries again in a few months.

Today, I learned of his brother who I knew very well and who was very close to Narc was tragically murdered last night. I saw it on the news and confirmed through our mutual friends on facebook.

If I know him like I think that I do...he is going to ask my and my daughter to attend the funeral...along with the other gatherings they will have amongst family and friends. (They are all very close to one another).

He has never been consistent with my daughter.
Money and/or Quality Time.
He is nice and friendly when he has not been able to speak to me for a while.
The monster comes back out when he gets comfortable.
He has a new women that he has been with for at less a year.
He flirts with me whenever we talk as if there is no other woman.

Meat and Potatoes: Should I try to call and send condolences? Should I go to the funeral? Should my 6 year old daughter be re-introduced to her father at such a time....OR at all?
